China's manned submersible Jiaolong prepares for a dive test from its support ship, Xiangyanghong-9, June 1, 2012. The ship set sail on May 3 from Jiangyin city, East China's Jiangsu province to the Mariana Trench in the Pacific Ocean, where Jiaolong completed a 7,000-meter deep sea manned dive test.
